AMES, Iowa -- National leaders in supply chain management are speaking at Iowa State University as part of the 14th Voorhees Business Conference on Friday, April 7 at the Scheman Building.

ISU's College of Business hosts the conference, which runs from 8:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. and allows participants to hear from leaders in the supply chain management field.

Cost for the conference is $150. Iowa State business students can attend free of charge; the cost for non-business ISU students and students from other institutions is only $25. All participants must register. The conference costs include a full day of speakers, conference materials, and lunch.

The keynote speaker for the event is Mary Bell, chairman and president of Caterpillar Logistics Services and vice president of Caterpillar, Inc. Her speech is titled "Cat Logistics: Making Progress Possible."
