IOWA STATE'S COLLEGE OF BUSINESS TO OFFER FREE INTERNSHIP, SEASONAL JOB DESCRIPTION SERVICE TO IOWABUSINESSES



AMES, Iowa -- Iowa businesses can get free help in writing clear, concise internship and summer/seasonal employment jobdescriptions through a new program from Iowa State University's College of Business.

Sponsored by the college's Business and Partnership Development Program and the Career Services unit, Iowa businessesmay request help in creating accurate and detailed job descriptions and gain access to a database of Iowa Statestudents who have an interest in gaining similar work experience.

"The college will help small business owners and managers write job descriptions that give prospective student internsor seasonal employees a solid foundation in what the position offers," Kathryn Wieland, director of Career Services forthe College of Business, said. "We can then use that detailed job information to reference our database of student andalumni resumes listing interests in similar work."
