COLLEGE OF DESIGN TO EXHIBIT WORK BY FACULTY MARCH 1-19

AMES, Iowa -- Recent work by 43 faculty of the Iowa State University College of Design will be on display in the SilverAnniversary Faculty Exhibition, March 1-19.

The exhibition will be on the first floor of the Design Building, in Gallery 181 and the dean's office. Gallery hoursare 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Thursday; 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Friday; and 1 to 4 p.m., Saturday and Sunday. Dean'sOffice hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Admission is free, and all exhibitions are open to thepublic.

The exhibition features a diverse range of creative work, including drawings, paintings, sculpture, photography,ceramics, models, architectural renderings, posters, mixed media, stained glass, fiber art, and furniture.

An opening reception for the exhibition will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday, March 1, in Gallery 181. The public is invitedto attend free of charge.

The exhibit is part of the College of Design's 25th anniversary celebration, which features notable speakers andspecial exhibitions throughout the year. Information on upcoming events is available atwww.design.iastate.edu, then click on 25th Anniversary.
