ISU VICE PRESIDENT FOR STUDENT AFFAIRS ANNOUNCES INTERIM STAFF APPOINTMENTS
AMES, Iowa -- Tom Hill, vice president for student affairs at Iowa State University, has announced interim leadership following the 2002 departure of Earl Dowling, financial aid director; and David Bousquet, vice president for enrollment services.
Roberta Johnson, associate director of financial aid, will serve as interim director of financial aid. She will report to Teresa Branch, associate vice president for student affairs, who assumes overall responsibility for enrollment services.
Director of Admissions Marc Harding also will report to Branch, and will have a special assignment that includes day-to-day operations for enrollment services. In addition to his duties in admissions, Harding will supervise research, orientation programs and pre-collegiate programs in enrollment services.
Johnson, Harding and Branch will serve on the vice president for student affairs 12-person cabinet.
"Teresa, Roberta and Marc are quality professionals who will do an outstanding job," Hill said. "In financial aid, our efforts to distribute funds in a timely fashion and help students finance their education will continue. The goal is to continue the momentum weve experienced in recruiting and enrolling students. The success weve had speaks to the good work these leaders and their staff members are doing."
Hill plans to conduct a national search for permanent replacements for Dowling and Bousquet in spring 2004.
